This course provides ‘house-as-a-system’ energy audit training using CMC’s Home Tune-uP audit software. Students are prepared to take the BPI Building Analyst Professional exam upon course completion. The course covers the fundamentals of energy; heating and cooling systems; distribution and controls; domestic water heater; air seal-up and insulation; windows; appliances; combustion safety; carbon monoxide protection; data collection and software use. Field work includes training in all diagnostic equipment. A training book and in-class materials are provided.

After course completion and two successful practice field inspections, you will be listed on CMC’s nationwide website as a certified home energy auditor and be part of the 700 Home Tune-uP auditors persuading thousands of homeowners to invest in energy efficiency . CMC will help publicize your business.

1 day course:

This one day class was developed to complement the professional energy auditor’s skill set. Attending the class will entitle the student to download CMC Energy’s Home Tune-uP energy audit data software. Additionally, the training session will go through a complete energy audit data collection process, covering all of the systems and areas that are involved in analyzing a home’s energy performance.

Training materials are included and optional free installation of the software by CMC’s technical support team.
BPI has awarded 6.5 CEUs for this very informative energy training class.

Sample Home Tune-uP™ Report

The Home Tune-uP Report includes the auditor’s business logo and company information, multiple pictures for each recommended improvement, detailed descriptions and unlimited auditor comments.

The Report contains estimates of the savings, costs and payback for all energy-efficiency recommendations. It also identifies the pay-from-your-savings group of improvements that will save more on energy bills than they cost, when financed. These are the improvements that everyone can afford since they require no out-of-pocket down payment.

Home Tune-uP™ Class Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation By Registered Attendee

If you need to cancel your registration for a class, you must do so 7 days prior to the class date. Please contact us by email or by phone 1-866-336-5262 x 105.

Failure to notify us of your cancellation 7 days prior to the class date will result in a fee of $25. This $25 may be used toward a future training class. The balance of your class registration fee will be refunded within 2 days after the date of the class.

Cancellation By CMC Energy Services

If CMC cancels a class at any time or for any reason, you will be notified immediately and a full refund of your registration fee will be given no later than 2 days after notification.
